Rock Hill, Sc. - The Clinton College head men's basketball coach Corey Sloan was named the NCCAA DI South Men's Basketball Coach of the Year his first season, the national office announced Wednesday afternoon.

Additionally, Cameron Shannon earned First Team All-Region honors, while Jeremiah Anderson earned Second Team All-Region.

Sloan has led the Golden Bears to the No. 6 seed in the first ever NCCAA national tournament, amassing the best winning percentage in NCCAA DI with a 20-1 record. The Golden Bears were a high flying team being number 1 in scoring and with a avg of 106.2 points per game.
