ROCK HILL, SC - Clinton College first year Head Women's Basketball Coach Toccara Toland has named Katrece Daniels as an assistant coach for the program, it was announced this week. Daniels will also serve as the Head Women's JV Coach.

Daniels comes to Clinton College after spending a season as an assistant coach at Allen University (2023-24) in Columbia. At Allen University, Daniels responsibilities included recruiting, perimeter skill development, film breakdown, preparing scouting reports and assisting with campus visits.

A Beaufort, SC native, Daniels arrives at Clinton after brief stints at Northside Christian Academy (2022-23) and Dreher High School (2019-20).  

As a standout player at Battery Creek High School (SC), Daniels received multiple awards and recognitions that reflect her love and passion for the game. Coach Daniels currently plays basketball semi-professionally for the Lady Carolina Crusaders Women's Basketball Team, an organization based out of Columbia, SC and affiliated with the WBA League.    

Daniels graduated from Allen University in 2017 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a concentration in piano performance while competing as a member of the women's basketball team.  

Affectionately known as "Coach KD," Daniels now resides in Columbia with her two beautiful daughters, London and Juel.
