MEN'S BASKETBALL SIGNS DIVISION II TRANSFER

Rock Hill, SC — The Clinton College men's basketball program has announced the second signee of the Dee Frazier era. Brooklyn, NY native  Nagee Scott has signed for the 2021-22 season.

"We are blessed to have a student athlete like Nagee join our program" Head Men's Basketball Coach Dee Frazier says.

Scott joins the Golden Bears from Glenville State College, a NCAA Division II program in Glenville, WV. Scott started 10 games for the Pioneers and averaged 7.5 points per game while playing 17 minutes per game.

Prior to Glenville State, Scott played two seasons at Niagara County Community College for Coach Billy Beilein. Scott finished his sophomore season averaging 10 points per game while shooting 40 percent from the field. He was also a team captain for a team that won 28 games and made the NJCAA National Tournament.

"Nagee is the type of young man you want to bring in to build a culture" Frazier added. "He gets it done in the classroom while being a gymrat. He will be a brand ambassador for our athletic program. Nagee's ability to shoot the 3 makes him different than most. It isn't everyday that you find a 6'5 lights out shooter"
