Clinton College Set to Play Morris College at Rock Hill Sports and Event Center

Rock Hill, SC— The Clinton College Department of Athletics announced today that tickets for its inaugural basketball game at the Rock Hill Sports and Event Center versus Morris College are now on sale. The games will take place on November 1st. The women's game is set to tip-off at 6:00 pm, followed by the men's game at 8:00 pm.

"I'm always ecstatic to play my alma mater," said Coach Jessica Blair, Head Women's Coach. "My players always know how special this game is for me. During this game, I always feel like I have family on both sides."

Clinton Athletics says it will start the 2021-2022 men's and women's basketball seasons without fans in the stands at JW Martin Gymnasium. This plan will stay in place through December 31st. The game versus Morris College at the Rock Hill Sports and Event Center will be the only game fans will be allowed during the first half of the season.

"We are excited to host Morris College at the Rock Hill Sports and Event Center in November," said Coach Dee Frazier, Athletic Director, and Head Men's Coach. "Partnering with the center allows us to safely host our fans while bringing a great basketball match-up to the City of Rock Hill."

The college will continue to closely monitor the situation surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic as attendance policies are decided on for the remainder of the season.
